Deborah Bell

Deborah BellDeborah Bell (RN, CCRA) is an English-trained registered nurse and holds a Diploma in Counselling. She is trained in Operating Room nursing and has worked in major teaching hospitals in London and Sydney for 12 years. During that time she specialised primarily in urology but is very experienced in orthopaedic and neurosurgical Operating Room care. The clinical, managerial and teaching experience gained during her nursing has provided an excellent foundation for her subsequent career in the development of innovative technologies. She worked for three years as the clinical trainer in Asia for VidaMed Inc, before establishing Five Corners in 1997. Since that time she has taken on the role of clinical trainer for a number of clients training surgeons, nurses and distributors. This involved the preparation of single and sequential session training and ensuring that materials were prepared and delivered to meet the various needs of the learners.

Deborah works with new and existing clients to ascertain their needs and ensure that their expectations are being met.

Deborah has a particular interest in abstract and manuscript writing and is a published author in a number of peer reviewed medical journals. She is also able to assist clients and physicians in the preparation of presentation material in the form of posters and PowerPoint presentations. Deborah is responsible for preparation of Clinical Trial documentation including Ethics committee submissions, trial agreements, insurances, indemnifications and budgets. She works with local based distributors in managing their reimbursement needs including prostheses list applications and procedural banding amendments. Through her many years of working within the healthcare industry, Deborah is able to provide accurate information about potential investigators and clinical sites for clients requiring Clinical Trial assistance and current information on potential distributors in Australia and New Zealand.

Deborah maintains her RN registration and is an accredited Clinical Research Associate with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
