Bennett Maxwell (M.Sc. ExerPhys, Hons ExerPhys, B.Sc. Molecular & Microbiology, CCRA) gained significant experience in the medical device field initially in sales before beginning his chosen career in clinical research. Initially he worked with Trident, a local Australian CRO as a Project and Trial Assistant before becoming a fully-fledged Clinical Research Associate. Bennett has since gained extensive experience in many therapeutic areas over the last 11 years primarily in Oncology, Cardiovascular, Respiratory and Medical Device, and previously worked with Amgen as a regionally based Senior Clinical Research Associate in oncology.

Bennett has enjoyed his recent role as a consultant Senior Clinical Research Associate since 2006 and has worked with many top medical device companies. Roles have included Clinical Trial Project Management through to, more recently, Field Clinical Engineer activities. He has had opportunities to assist in Case Report Form development, Protocol and Investigator Brochure review and Study Feasibility work assessment. Bennett is very experienced in first-in-man pharmaceutical and medical device trial monitoring experience, particularly in the areas of cardiovascular, nerve blocking and stimulating technology.

One of Bennett's key responsibilities at Five Corners is working with clients to undertake their Clinical Research activities in Australia and New Zealand. Bennett is well versed in supporting clients in planning their clinical trials being involved in activities such as protocol and budget development, drafting of case report forms, preparing applications to ethics committees, performing clinical trial training at investigative sites and monitoring clinical trials.

Bennett is an accredited Clinical Research Associate with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
